Bradfield College is looking for a hard-working individual with previous grounds management experience to lead our Grounds Maintenance team. 

The College has one of the most beautiful school campuses in the country set within an area of outstanding natural beauty and has the resources and desire to deliver high quality surfaces as part of our thriving and successful sports programme.


As Head of Grounds, you will lead the Grounds Maintenance team to maintain, conserve and enhance the sports facilities and grounds at the College. You will assist in the development of seasonal and weather dependent schedules of work including snow clearance and salting paths and roads, as well as overseeing the provision of sports surfaces and the setting-up and dismantling of sports equipment.


You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of health and safety and the ability to actively promote a positive culture towards it. You will also need a GMA Level 4 qualification or equivalent and a full UK driving licence with trailer entitlement. Previous experience in grounds management and of managing a team is essential, along with extensive knowledge of sports turf management.

The role is full time, averaging out to 40 hours per week with a summer and winter work schedule.
