Closing Date: 5 May 2026
We wish to appoint an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Head of Grounds and Gardens to join our Estates and Facilities team. This is an exciting time to be joining King Edward’s School and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the School and its environment.
King Edward’s School’s sports grounds and facilities are mainly based in Bathampton, and gardens at North Road, Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient maintenance of the grounds, playing surfaces and gardens, which involves the management of 17 acres of sports pitches, 2 acres of gardens and associated buildings. Additionally, the postholder will be responsible for the effective line management of the other members of the Grounds and Gardens Teams, ensuring that all works undertaken are carried out to an exceptionally high standard within the agreed timeframes.
