The Queen's Club is an exclusive private members' Club situated in Baron's Court (W14). We have a full-time vacancy as a Junior Groundsperson within our Grounds team.

In this role you will be assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of the club grounds. This includes:

  • Maintenance of all our tennis courts (grass, clay, astroturf and acrylic) such as mowing, scarifying and brushing.
  • Various aspects of gardening such as weeding, trimming of hedges and mulching
  • Assistance in the preparation and management of the all events and tournaments held at the club
  • The general upkeep of the club grounds.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who works well as part of a team, who is engaging and flexible in their approach with a friendly manner, and a proactive can-do attitude. Will have an ability to multi task, and with problem solving skills, you will have the ability to be reactive and think on your feet. Being someone who is self-organised and able to prioritise workload to meet agreed deadlines.

This role has the potential to develop into an Apprentice Position, if it is of interest to the candidate once they have passed probation.

The working week is based on a rota system, working 5 days out of 7, including required weekend shifts.
