Sportsground Supervisor

Salary: £36,000 p/a - £38,000 p/a (depending on experience).

Full-time, all year round (8am - 4pm winter hours & 7am - 4pm summer hours)

Sports Turf Limited is one of the leading sports turf contractors in Surrey with an outstanding reputation, offering bespoke year-round maintenance packages sports surface maintenance and management for professional and amateur clubs, leisure centres and schools, as well as offering renovations to all surfaces.

Sports Turf Limited currently looks after venues in football, tennis and cricket at professional level, and is proud to have retained these contracts for many years proving our quality and success.

We are looking for a proficient and experienced Sportsground Supervisor to manage our premier grounds and oversee all surfaces in our venues. You will be trustworthy and reliable, with extensive knowledge of sports turf management and ground management practises.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in a similar role with an NVQ Level Sports Turf Operative qualification, as well as a full UK driver’s license and PA1, PA2 and PA6 pesticide certification.

You will be expected to use your own initiative and make decisions in a professional and considered manner, as you will be the first line of contact after the company director for staff and clients at our venues. This role will also help develop your own personal skills and give you experience and knowledge at the highest level of management.

Previous experience in a similar role, staff management and team leadership skills are favourable.
