About The Role Leicester City have exciting opportunities to join their award-winning Sports Turf and Grounds team as a skilled Sports Turf and Grounds Operative.Working under the guidance of the Pitch Manager the ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on team ethics, high standards and attention to detail.Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role, have an NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (or equivalent) and PA1, PA2 and PA6 qualifications. This role is active and physical, with tasks including pedestrian and ride-on mowing, line marking, strimming, and all forms of pitch preparation and repair. Responsibilities are not limited to the Club’s pitches, with horticultural work required in the surrounding areas across the Club’s sites, along with the cleaning and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment.The ideal candidate will also be reliable, have the ability to multi-task, perform under pressure, and have a high level of attention to detail.
