<a href="https://url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/9PbvCR5X2SPyl8C9fQS13H-a?domain=online.fliphtml5.com/" target="_blank">Groundsperson July 2024</a>The key tasks of the role are:<ul><li>Maintain the three playing fields and artificial Turf pitch (principal sports played are football, hockey, athletics and cricket).</li><li>Maintain the playing surfaces in a suitable condition for the particular sport in season at that time (including setting out and marking pitches).</li><li>At the end of each season erecting and dismantling relevant goals etc.</li><li>Maintenance of goals, sightscreens and storage areas</li><li>Maintenance of boundary fences, hedges, ditches, verges, car parks and paths.</li><li>Care and maintenance of trees on site to include low level pruning, clearance and replanting.</li><li>Maintain the gardens as instructed, including the flower beds, hanging baskets, tubs and pots, summer and winter bedding plants, wildlife area and mow and strim grass areas.</li><li>To help the Estates Team in snow clearing as needed</li><li>Maintain and clean machinery</li><li>Knowledge of and adherence with all Health &amp; Safety regulations</li><li>Attend and participate in regular departmental meetings and sharing ideas</li><li>Any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time</li></ul>If you are interested in applying please "Apply" below.Early applications are encouraged and we reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date.To apply, please complete the application form via the "Apply" link.
