SIS Group is a world leading group of companies in the manufacture of artificial grass and in the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of synthetic and natural sports pitches throughout the UK and overseas. This includes an exciting innovative product – SISGRASS, a hybrid of natural grass and artificial turf stitching.
SIS has experienced unprecedented growth over the last five years and a high level of business development and expansion is planned for the future, particularly with the SISGRASS product. With an expanding portfolio of UK, European and overseas clients, particularly within the educational and sports sectors, SIS is seeking a SISGRASS Project Coordinator/ Site Manager.
This role will encompass planning, co-ordinating and administrating in-excess of sixty projects a year being completed all around the globe. Administration / co-ordination will also be required for approximately thirty installation crew members. The work will be on sites within the UK as well as globally, where your skills, administration and planning will lead to hybrid sports pitch installations at high prestige sports venues across the world.
The successful candidate shall be experienced in sport grass maintenance as groundsmen as well as project & crew administration / co-ordination with the relevant technical skills, although training shall be given on current processes. You shall be highly organized with sound experience in resource planning and co-ordination; with a passion and commitment to the delivery of a high-quality service. Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills are required with an ability to solve problems, think creatively, often under pressure. The ability to think ahead and plan accordingly is critical.
